Recent Online Marketing Promotions – For Your Benefit?

Are online marketing gurus skimming off the top … slamming the multi-level marketing, MLM business online community with promotion after promotion that return less and less and ->?

I am a member of a different younger generation, and as such, have seen the downside of so-called progress.  I remember clearly the routine classroom drill in which, upon a specific signal, we took cover under our desks.  The purpose of this maneuver was never clearly explained.  Looking back, however, I guess, to help us save ourselves should the Russians decide to nuke our playground.

Today’s school kids are treated to different menaces:  dirty nukes planted by terrorists, environmental degradation, vanishing species, among others; all the product of science and technological progress hailed by one generation as achievement only to become the horror of the next.

Such experiences have triggered me of late to wonder whether there is a silent menace in the explosion of all the new and greater multi-level marketing, MLM business online network strategies being launched on the marketplace recently.

Are promoters of each new network marketing strategy providing value … Actually benefiting the MLM business online marketing community with a comprehensive Internet Marketing System?

The community will ultimately decide.

But,

It does seem to me, the proliferation of these recent launches simply serve to confuse the marketplace, and consequently, compromise the best efforts of its individual members who are looking for the best home based business opportunity online marketing guide.

A case in point…

In the middle of June, 2009, I registered for a comprehensive, work-in-progress online marketing course; now considered by many (including me) the Holy Grail for the MLM business online marketing entrepreneur.  In early 2010, prior to completion of the course, another work-in-progress online marketing promotion was launched by the same organization.

This subsequent promotion allegedly assisted those suffering the frustration of what was described as “information overload.”  Being deeply involved in the yet-to-be-completed course started 9 months earlier, it was difficult for me to understand how “more information,” helped those suffering the plight described.  To exacerbate the situation, the product was syndicated largely through well-known gurus  (motivated, in whole or in part, by a rather narcissistic, perverse incentive), many who had launched, or were in the process of launching, their own products.

From my chair positioned outside…

The situation presented a view of the MLM business online marketplace as a playground for intertwined online marketing gurus, complete with dumping canisters for vague descriptions of the cost effective, operational value of the product(s) being promoted,

And,

Didn’t include anything so tedious as an evaluation of the true needs and requirements of the average member in that marketplace.

GENERATE $$$$$$ WITH TIME TO SPARE

Attack marketing with the same frenzied passion a Great White exhibits on a feeding frenzy.

Note:  frenzy is defined in Webster’s as: a violently agitated or wildly excited state, often accompanied by manic activity; temporary madness or delirium.

The problem with most marketing, particularly on the Internet, is that it is so boring and mundane it seldom crashes the “ho-hum” barrier, and consequently, would likely work better as a sleep agent.

But, you say, you would rather not get so far “outside the box” that it might be considered crazy or bizarre. After all, there’s that certain market place image to protect.

A valued lesson learned over the years:

As a young lawyer (young being more than a few years ago, unfortunately), I worried the market place was thinking the wrong things about me.  As the battle scares mounted, and a few transgressions later, I began to worry more about the possibility the market place was thinking the right things about me.  Then, as I matured and old enough to develop a little wisdom…

Online Marketing Made Easier

The Superhighway to Success

Traffic is the energizer, the fuel driving the entrepreneur’s efforts on the Internet superhighway to success.   Without traffic, all marketing activity is usually lost in the fools’ game, players jumping from opportunity to opportunity, affiliate program to affiliate program, and ultimately, broke, angry and deflated, onto the streets of failure and despair.

The three universally accepted steps on the stairway to Internet marketing success are:

(1)   Build a list;

(2)   Build a relationship with the people on the list;

(3)   Market to the list.
